Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is the United States' preeminent nuclear research center. World-renowned as the birthplace of nuclear power, INL is home to some of the world's unique nuclear facilities, including the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR), EBR-I (the first nuclear reactor to generate electricity) and EBR-II, which sustained U.S. fast spectrum reactor research for 30 years and featured on-site fuel reprocessing.

INL continues today as a world-class contributor to nuclear research and development and leads U.S. research efforts into Generation IV and Global Nuclear Energy Partnership technologies.

Tour participants will visit EBR-I, ATR, several INL cleanup areas and the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) . Tour price includes transportation for the tour and lunch.

To register, complete the tour registration form. If you are not a U.S. citizen, you will also need to complete the Request for Approval of Foreign National Visit form (PDF). Post-Conference Jackson Hole Trip: Yellowstone Scenic Float Trip and Bar J Wranglers

After the conference we are offering a day-long trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a popular destination for outdoor lovers from all over the world. Included in the day-long trip will be a scenic float trip down the Snake River and a night of classic western dining and entertainment at the Bar J Chuckwagon.

Join us for a relaxing float trip through some of the most beautiful and iconic landscapes in the country - Grand Teton National Park. Guided by Solitude Float Trips of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this event has become a popular tradition for people attending events in Idaho Falls.

Jackson Hole trip participants will meet in the Shilo Inn Lobby at 7:45 a.m. and the bus will leave at 8 a.m. The tour bus will return about 11 p.m. to the Shilo Inn, or participants can make their own arrangements to stay in Jackson for the night/weekend after the tour.

After the float trip, we'll enjoy dinner and entertainment at the Bar J Chuckwagon Supper and Western Music Show. Dinner menu options are sliced BBQ beef, boneless chicken breast, chicken and BBQ beef combo or vegetarian.
