Historic Enders Hotel Museum and Geyser

This historic hotel, located next to the Geyser Park Visitor Center, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It features 30 rooms, along with historical artifacts, and antiques. There is also a gift shop and a cafe onsite. This is a must see on your list of things to do in Idaho.

Lava Hot Springs

Time permitting; enjoy a dip in the famous Lava Hot Springs hot pool. For years people have gathered at the springs to bathe, rest and worship. Many people believe that there are curative properties associated with the hot mineral water and refer to the Springs as "the healing waters" It is rumored that long ago the Springs were neutral ground and shared in peace by all.

Add $7.50 for a day in the pool (bring your own towel or rent one at the pool)

Johnny Sack's Cabin and Historic Mesa Falls Byway

Come join the fun with a ride to Island Park and a tour of Johnny Sack's Cabin. The cabin is located at Big Springs, five miles east of Mack's Inn on Highway 20 in Island Park, Idaho. The cabin can be reached via a short, paved walking path starting in the campground at Big Springs. The cabin's unique location, construction, and furnishings provide for an interesting visit. Box lunches will be provided and then the trip will be completed with a scenic trip through the Mesa Falls Byway. This takes you to two of the last undisturbed waterfalls of consequence in the West. The Upper and Lower Mesa Falls are the last major falls in Idaho that have not been used for irrigation or hydroelectric projects. The glassy waters froth to mist in an even higher 11-story, 114-foot plunge. Simply awesome!

Shopping and Scenic Tour of the Historic Falls in Idaho Falls

Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Idaho Falls

Today you will have a day of shopping at the Grand Teton Mall or other shops of choice in Idaho Falls. This will be followed by a relaxing lunch by the Falls around the 14-mile Snake River Greenbelt. The park also features a statue of a Snake River fur trader. Lunch will be served on the patio of one of the restaurants along the falls of the Snake River. Come join the fun.
